VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta Police were asking Wednesday for your help figuring out who broke into some dealerships and bodyshops.

Police said sometime between Monday night and early Tuesday morning someone broke into Bennett Motors and Pops Auto and stole two cars.

The suspect or suspects also broke into two cars at Langdale Kia and damaged the steering columns of the cars. A bodyshop on Gordon St. was also broken into and police believed Wednesday that the break ins were connected.

"Right now, we're not gonna go into what was used to bust out windows because there is some similarity so detectives and crime scene folks are working, trying to draw an inference there and put that together," explained Valdosta Police Department Cpt. Bobbi McGraw.

Both of the stolen vehicles were found abandoned in Valdosta Tuesday morning mostly undamaged. Detectives were, as of Wednesday, trying to use any surveillance video from businesses surrounding the dealerships and bodyshop to identify the suspects.

Call Valdosta Police at (229) 293-3091 if you have any information.
