Teachers to get free admission to Wild Adventures

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Teachers have an opportunity to enjoy some fun at Wild Adventures for free.

The theme park announced Wednesday that teachers will get free admission to the park on Saturday. Recess games are also going to be set up throughout the water park Saturday for kids to give the kids a fun way to start thinking about school, which starts next week.

"When we invite our teachers to come in for free admission, it's our way to say thank you," said Wild Adventures Media Relations Coordinator Laurie Windham. "It's a little tiny way to say thank you for all that you've done for our kids and for all that you're gonna do."

The park opens at 10 a.m. Saturday and the recess games will begin at noon.
