YMCA soccer camp kicks off

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The YMCA is hosting Challenger Sports' British Soccer Camp all week at the YMCA Sports Park, 4508 Gillionville Road.

A variety of options are available including First Kicks Camp for 3 & 4 year olds, Mini Soccer Camp for kids ages 4-6, Half-Day Camp for boys and girls ages 6-16, and Full Day Camp for boys and girls ages 10-16.

Full Day Camp includes swimming and a supervised lunch. Camper should bring his/her own lunch.

Challenger’s British Soccer Camp is the most popular soccer camp in the country. Hundreds of Challenger coaches each year have helped the company develop one of the most innovative approaches to coaching youth soccer in the United States.

Challenger’s experienced staff has identified the key techniques and skills that players need to work on and master to reach their true potential. Challenger Sports recruits the most talented and enthusiastic coaches from the UK who strive to be not only the best coaches, but also the best role models for children.

There is still time to register with a $10 late fee, on the Challenger Sports website,  www.challengersports.com.

For more information on camps, call the Albany Area YMCA at 436-0531, the Lee Branch YMCA at 759-9770.
