VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Head football coach of Brooks County High school spoke at the In the Game Sports Network media day In Valdosta.

The motto for the Bulldogs this season is fight for 15. That number represents the number of games they would play if they go all the way to the championship.

They have gotten close over the past few years. Freeman will ride the play of some of his key returning seniors: quarterback Demontay Jones, wide reviver Nate Vick and defensive tackle Trevonte Maxwell.

He's confident in his team.

“Like everybody else we want to play for a state title,” said Freeman. “We've got enough talent. We've been playing 13, 14 games last seven years. So we feel like it's about our time to get over the hump.”
