THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) -

One man is behind bars in Thomas county after investigators found a meth lab in a car.

Blake Braswell was pulled over by Thomas county deputies for a traffic offense around 5:30 Thursday morning on Baldwin Road.

Narcotics agents later found what they call a 'shake and bake' meth lab in the backseat.

Commander Kevin Lee said more suspects are making meth in their cars when officers already know where they live.

“They don't want to do it in their residence, so they just ride up and down the road, which makes it dangerous for the community,” said Lee. “Him riding up and down the road, it could blow up.  All sorts of things could happen.”

Braswell is charged with manufacturing meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, and unlawful possession of ephedrine.
