TIFTON, GA (WALB) - Tift Regional Medical Center hopes football will help guys think about their health.
Their annual "Men's Event" will feature free blood pressure and cholesterol screenings.
Area high school football coaches will also be there to talk about the upcoming season.
Featured speaker Dr. Ryan Byrnes will talk about low back pain, and men can get a lot of other good health information.
"It runs very smoothly, all the folks there really know what they are doing and so when the men show up, they go right through the screening, not very long at all, and that's what we want," said host Chris Beckham. "We want to make it easy for them, you get a lot of important information that can go a long way."
No registration is required.
The health screenings will run from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the events center on Carpenter Road.
