CRISP CO., GA (WALB) -

The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office has captured a Wilcox County man who is charged with domestic violence, and stealing a motorcycle.

The Crisp County Sheriff's Office captured 30-year-old Robert Dare Thursday.

Wilcox Co. Sheriff’s investigators said Dare assaulted his girlfriend in a van that was parked on a dirt road in western Wilcox County Wednesday night.

A sheriff’s deputy found the woman in the van at a different location when they were looking for Dare in reference to a motorcycle that was stolen also on Wednesday.

They went to a house in Crisp County to arrest him, but he had already left.

Dare has been charged with domestic violence for Wednesday’s incident.

The woman who was attacked refused medical treatment for her injuries, and her name has not been released.
