The family of a Lee County Assistant Principal, who drowned over the weekend, is asking for people to donate to underprivileged students instead of giving flowers.
The Kim Robinson Memorial Fund will provide clothing and school supplies for students in need at Lee County Middle School-West.
Robinson drowned in the pool at her home late Saturday night.
The family will receive friends at the Bindery at Oakland Wednesday night from 6 to 8.The funeral will be Thursday morning at First Baptist Church of Leesburg.
