Albany firefighters are preparing for a cook-off to raise money for burn victims.
They'll hold their annual Rhythm, Rides and Ribs Family Fun Day this weekend.
Judges will taste ribs, hamburgers and hotdogs made by firefighters to raise money for the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation.
"The money goes to help families of burn victims. It helps in our operations as far as spreading the word about fire prevention,” said Laurence Cargile, Fire Safety Inspector. “Then also there's a camp Oo-U-La here in Georgia and it’s a burn center for children."
The Cook-off will be Saturday from 10 to 4 in the Sam's Club parking lot.
