ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany city commissioners are joining with Dougherty County Commissioners to try to stop the Sabal Trail pipeline.
They're sending a letter expressing concerns to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Commissioners say the pipeline threatens health safety and property values.
"The first compressor station was in the county and we were with them, and against it. And now the county's with us standing with us and we appreciate that solidarity," Roger Marietta.
Commissioner Roger Marietta says opponents of the pipeline are getting support from all over the country.
