VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta Police were looking Tuesday for a Valdosta man who they said beat his girlfriend with a piece of a bed frame and punched her in the face.

Police said Roderick Frazier assaulted 23 year-old Sierra Williams at her apartment on Old Statenville Road around 2:15 Tuesday morning.

"Actually struck the victim with that plank. Struck her on the arm and leg and she also sustained some injury to the bridge of her nose area of her forehead, just where the nose and forehead meet. That was sustained from a punch," said Valdosta Police Department Cpt. Bobbi McGraw.

An arrest warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was taken out on Frazier Tuesday afternoon.
Call police if you know where he is.
