ALBANY, GA (WALB) - South Georgians expressed their concerns about Phoebe Putney directly to the hospital CEO Monday.
County Commissioner John Hayes hosted a town hall meeting with Phoebe CEO Joel Wernick.
Several pastors and their church members asked questions and brought up problems they've experienced at Phoebe.
"We want to make sure that the leadership at Phoebe understands the concerns of the community," said Dougherty County Commissioner John Hayes. "Those things that were expressed tonight and then some appropriate steps be taken, and I believe that will happen. Some appropriate steps be taken to begin to address those concerns."
Wernick told citizens he is always open to input from the community and anyone who has concerns should contact the main office and speak with an administrator.
