THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - Three men are behind bars in Thomas county after deputies found drugs and a gun following a short chase early Friday morning.
Deputies arrested De'Angelo Stringer, James Howard, and Lorenzo Bates after they tried to pull over Bates who was wanted on probation violation.
The three men got out of the car and ran, but were later arrested.
Bates is now charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, felony attempt to elude law enforcement, and numerous traffic violations.
Howard is charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and carrying a concealed weapon.
All three face obstruction charges.
