Pizza man robbed of money, phone, and car

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

About midnight Thursday, a Domino's delivery driver was robbed by two armed men at the intersection of Mary Street and Marion Street in Valdosta.

Enrique Etienne said that while he was stopped at a stop sign at Brookwood Drive and Williams Street, a man walked up to the passenger side of his car and showed him a pistol.

He said the gunman, and another man who walked up, made him get into the backseat of his car, and one of the men drove the car to East Gordon St. and North Ashley Street.

Etienne said they made him get out, and demanded his money, cell phone, and took his car. They took off, and he started walking back to Domino's.  A citizen stopped and gave him a ride.   Etienne said he was not hurt.

Police are looking for the two African American men, who stole the victim's 2007 silver Nissan Maxima. The vehicle was found abandoned about 10:00 Friday morning in a parking area, near the intersection of East Moore and Forrest Street.

If you have any information concerning this incident, please call the VPD Tip Line at 229-293-3091 or VPD Bureau of Investigations at 229-293-3145.
