“Lucky” slowly recovers at Moultrie-Colquitt Humane Society
A puppy named "lucky" is doing better after workers with the Moultrie-Colquitt Humane Society rescued him from the side of a road yesterday.
This little guy barely weighs 20 pounds.  He can't stand yet, but he's wagging his tail and slowly gaining weight.
He's about a year old, and needs to gain between between 20 and 30 pounds.
Shelter workers aren't sure what happened, but they hope to nurse him back to health and give him lots of love.
“Lots of tender loving care, and food and water. As much as he can handle. About every two hours we try and feed him.. We leave water in there all day long, and just talk to him a lot. Comfort him, touch him a lot, and give him a reason to fight,” Brandy Barfield, with the Moultrie-Colquitt County Humane Society.
They've had a large response from folks on social media and have a paypal account set up for anyone who wants to donate to help Lucky.
