Police investigate Pitt Stop burglary

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Police are investigating a burglary at a convenience store overnight.

According to a report, two black men wearing masks kicked in the shatter resistant glass door of the Pitt Stop on Sylvester Road, and stole hundreds of dollars worth of cigarettes.

Dougherty County Police were called to the scene around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday.

The manager of the store said they plan to repair and  reinforce the door, to make it harder for someone to break in again.
