Congressman Bishop wants wounded warrior to work in his office

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Congressman Sanford Bishop is looking for a disabled veteran to work in his office.

     He's looking for a Wounded Warrior Fellow to serve as a Veterans' Advocate and Outreach Coordinator for his Albany office.
     To qualify, you must have served active duty since September 11, 2001 with less than 20-years of service and at least a 30-percent disability rating from the VA.

"It will assist our Veteran constituents in navigating government agencies and it will of course help me and my staff stay updated on issues related to the Veterans Administration, Defense and National Security. This person will be a key staffer,”  said Congressman Sanford Bishop.
     The position is funded by the House of Representatives.
