Albany teen heads to state prison

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany teenager is sentenced to serve four years in prison, after pleading guilty to committing a robbery when he was 14 years old.

Kendrick Jones, who is now 17 years old, plead guilty to robbery by intimidation charges, and was given a 15 year total sentence, the first four to be served behind bars.

Prosecutors say Jones was to be tried this week for the armed robbery with a gun of another teen, when he was 14 years old.
