CECIL, GA (WALB) -
Some Cook and Lowndes County veterans were showing their support Tuesday for fellow veterans and their families in times of grief.
Around a dozen people stood on the corner of U.S. 41 and Fellowship Rd. in Cecil Tuesday morning as the funeral procession of a Moody Airman who died over the weekend came by.
38 year old TSgt. Lee Fulp was riding his motorcycle on Val Del Rd. when he hit a pick up trying to cross at the intersection of Fellowship Church Rd.
Flags were also placed along U.S. 41 in Cecil to further honor TSgt. Fulp.
"It's how we get together in the spur of the moment. It's taking care of one another and helping each other out and paying respect to the families," said Lyman Cole, Commander of American Legion Post 218. "But, we hate to see the loss of the gentleman that's done his time in battle."
As of Tuesday, GSP was continuing to investigate the crash.
