Fundraiser is success for Albany Kidney Transplant patient

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Dozens of folk showed up for  motorcycle run benefiting an Albany woman who will soon receive a kidney transplant.

Members of Another Level Motorcycle Club met at Power Sports Plus for a ride that ended at Sift Park.

A cookout was held all the park for everyone. Chakeeta Jones has waited 19 years for a kidney transplant. All the funds raised will help pay for her medical expenses. She says she's grateful for all the support.

"I have a long road to go but, from what I am getting from here it's going to put me pretty close," Chakeeta Jones said.

Jones will be organizing more fundraisers soon. In the mean time you can donate to Jones go fund me page.
