ASU hosts freshman orientation

ASU hosts freshman orientation
It was a busy day at Albany State where 200 incoming freshmen and their families were on campus for orientation.
Organizers say it's a great way to make sure students are ready for the first day of classes.
Right now  they're working to increase enrollment numbers.
They'd like to get more than 500 new students enrolled each year.

"The main thing is to make a real connection to the campus so they have their classes registered, their IDs, and they are ready to start classes on August the 17th, and get things going, says Paul Bryant with enrollment management.

Another freshman orientation is scheduled next month at ASU.
