ASHBURN, GA (WALB) - A new apartment complex in Ashburn for low income families will officially open soon.
A few residents have already moved into Eureka Heights Apartments as crews put on the finishing touches.
The Turner County Board of Education donated the land, and tax credits from the state helped make the 55-unit project possible.
"We are so glad to be able to bring this to Ashburn, Ga and give them a great place to be able to call home. The apartments are awesome, absolutely awesome. So are the surroundings on the outside of the apartments, we have several amenities as well here," said Erin Threatt.
They've received nearly 200 applications.
The property manager says mass move-ins could start early next week.
