ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Viewer tips led to the arrest of three people following the burning of a small travel trailer at a Cordele Road truck stop.

Johnny Williams, Jr., Connie Pettit, and Kimberlie Miller were charged with dumping of egregious litter, which is a felony.

WALB showed video of a truck towing the trailer into the Pilot gas station where it burned.

Investigators said the three were cutting the trailer into pieces to sell for scrap metal when it caught on fire.

"It appears that a cutting torch was used to start trying to scrap it out, and the cutting torch was what set it on fire," said Albany Fire Chief Ron Rowe.

Fire Investigators also arrested Larry Clarke this week for arson.

Investigators say July 6th, Clarke set a city dumpster on fire in the 14-hundred block of Palmyra Road.
