ALBANY, GA (WALB) - It's been more than a week since that historic Supreme Court ruling made same-sex marriage legal in Georgia, but gay couples aren't rushing to the courthouse here.
So far, Dougherty County's Probate Judge has only issued one marriage license to a same-sex couple.
The court does now have updated forms.
The Georgia marriage license was changed from "bride" and "groom" to "Applicant 1" and "Applicant 2."
Neither the probate nor magistrate court has performed a same-sex marriage ceremony in Dougherty County.
