THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - A suspect is in custody after leading Thomas county deputies on a short high speed chase Tuesday afternoon.
Employees from Thomasville Toyota called 911 after spotting one young man jumping into a red two-door Mercedes and speeding off.
Soon after, the juvenile driver picked up another juvenile.
When deputies stopped the car, the driver tried to run.
Deputies used a stun gun to take him into custody.
The passenger was released to his parents and is not facing any charges at this time.
The juvenile driver is charged with felony theft, felony fleeing and attempting to elude, felony obstruction, and several traffic offenses.
Deputies are not releasing their names.
