ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany is gearing up for their after school program.
More than 500 young people attended their Summer program which wraps up this Friday.
All units will be shut down for two weeks.
Officials are looking to expand their school-based sites to serve more kids in East Albany.
They said they're excited to start signups for the new school year.
"Actually during that week of shut down our service directors will be meeting with respective principles and scheduling time to offer some sign up sessions at the school's open house. Then on August 5th, people can actually come into the facility or contact the facility that they want their child to attend and fill out the application," said Marvin Laster, Asst. Chief Professional Officer.
