Albany fire crews respond to house fire


     Albany Fire investigators are trying to figure out what caused a fire at a vacant east Albany house Thursday afternoon.

 A neighbor noticed the fire on Force Drive just after 3:30 p.m. and called 911   Smoke was pouring from the back of the house when firefighters arrived.

"Right now it's undetermined, it's under investigation, it is a vacant house. Right now all crews are just in and trying to continue extinguishment. It's pretty much out right now and we got an investigator on the way to try to determine a cause,” said Asst. Chief Rubin Jordan, Albany Fire Dept.
     No one was injured.
     Arson investigators encourage neighbors to call them if they saw anything suspicious.
