LOWNDES CO., GA (WALB) -

20 year old Zachary Rabbers, of Florida, was behind bars in Lowndes County Thursday evening, suspected of crashing his car on I-75 while under the influence of marijuana.

The crash happened near the seven mile marker in the Northbound lanes of the interstate around 3 p.m. Thursday.

According to TFC. C.H. Parrish, with the Georgia State Patrol Post in Valdosta, Rabbers hit a guardrail, bounced back into traffic, and then hit a truck. "He's gonna be facin' DUI, possession of marijuana, and failure to maintain lane," TFC. Parrish explained.

A passenger was in the car with Rabbers at the time, but he was not arrested and was not facing any charges at the time of the crash.

No one was seriously hurt.
