Suspect in custody in Coffee Co. theft case

COFFEE CO., GA (WALB) -

Coffee County authorities are thanking the public for tips and information after the arrest of a suspect they say stole a lawnmower from a home.

Surveillance video showed two men back into the property with an SUV, and load the mower into it.

According to the Coffee County Sheriff, both people in the video have been identified and one person is in custody.

That man, James Thomas was arrested and taken to the Coffee County Jail.

Officials said the second suspect was expected to be in custody soon.
