Dougherty County man injured in home invasion robbery

A Dougherty County man is recovering from minor injuries after he was attacked during a home invasion robbery.
Police say 67-year old Leslie King suffered cuts on his head and face.
He says two men jumped him as he walked down the hall in his home in the 3000 block of Staton Drive.
They stole $700  and beer.

Dougherty County Police Lt. Chad Kirkpatrick said "There was forced entry into the residence. It appears one of the doors to the residence was pried open."
