National grocery store giving back to soldiers

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A national grocery store chain is giving back to soldiers this holiday weekend.

Southern grocers, which owns Harvey's, Winn-Dixie, and BI-LO, will donate all profits on July 4th to the Wounded Warriors Project.
Donations will also be accepted all weekend when you're in to shop.

"The Wounded Warrior project is about independence. It supports the independence of our warriors that have returned from service, so it's a great opportunity for us to show respect to those who have served to help protect us," said Harvey's Regional Vice President Ken Wicker.

The donations can be made from today through Sunday online and in stores.
