Albany Police charge person of interest in home invasion case

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A person of interest in an Albany home invasion case has been charged in the investigation.

Albany police have charged Alexia Douse aka Alexandria Johnson with Home Invasion 1st Degree (party to the crime).

Albany police said she was involved in a home invasion that happened at 2401 Nottingham North Apartments on June 20th.

They also said a man made his way into the victim's home with the assistance of Johnson.  They believe she became acquainted with the victim. Johnson came to visit the apartment right before the home invasion occurred.

Shortly after arriving, she left and returned with the male suspect.

The man held the victim at gunpoint and demanded money. Then the two suspects ran out of the apartment.
