ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A former Chehaw Park employee has been charged after police said she used city credit cards to buy personal items.
Angela Rivera bonded out of jail late Friday afternoon after she turned herself in to police.
Officials charged her with five counts of financial identity fraud and one count of theft by taking.
According to a report by Albany Police, Chehaw officials said Rivera admitted to spending at least $6,000 in 2014.
Chehaw fired Rivera after they started their own investigation.
Chehaw management said they have been reviewing internal control policies and procedures to safeguard assets.
