Dougherty County teacher holds camp for special needs students

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A Dougherty County Special Needs teacher is in her second year of providing a summer camp for students with special needs.

Melissa Pollock started Camp Good Times a year ago for students ages 9 to 14.

She taught special needs at Northside Elementary for 18 years.

She currently has 10 campers.

Camp Good Times and Camp Sunshine in Lee County will hold a joint Pool Party at the Albany Elks Lodge on Friday.
