BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) -  A man was caught on surveillance video throwing a brick through a downtown Bainbridge business early Wednesday morning.

The business owner said she hopes someone will recognize the culprit from the footage.

It took just seconds for the suspect to cause hundreds of dollars worth of damage.

Casey Alday, owner of Casey Alday Photography, said, “He just simply walked up, threw a brick, and ran off.”

Alday said she doesn't understand why anyone would do this.

“I don't even know how to describe it.  It's senseless.  There's no rhyme or reason for the reason he did it.”

She said she's one of several businesses downtown vandalized in the past couple months.

Now she's coming to WALB and using social media in hopes of tracking down this man.

“I'm not one to sit back and take something,” said Alday. “I'm going to come out fighting and come out on top, usually.”

Investigators believe the vandal in the video is a young black man from 17 to 25-years-old.
