DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) - No one was injured when the roof was blown off a liquor store during a strong thunderstorm in Douglas Wednesday.
Scott Sinclair the owner of Spirits on North Peterson Avenue says the one employee at the store was scared when the roof blew off around 5:00 p.m.
Sinclair says the store also was damaged from rain that poured in after the roof was blown off.
The Douglas Fire Department is on scene.
There are reports of trees down in the Douglas-Coffee County area which was under a severe thunderstorm warning.
