ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police are moving closer to having cameras in all of their patrol cars. The Albany City Commission has approved buying cameras for 20 patrol cars.
All 20 cars will be newer cars that will have the other new technology as well.
"With these 20 coming in we should be close to 100 percent with all of our marked police cars," said Chief Michael Persley.
The cost of the cameras is $107,000.
This will mean nearly all APD cars will have cameras.
