Albany man killed in Virginia stabbing

A deadly stabbing in Virginia has many people grieving right here in South Georgia. Albany native Anthony Carter was killed early Sunday morning after a fight broke out in the parking lot of a restaurant in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Pastor Yaz Johnson's niece was dating Carter and they moved to Richmond from Albany two years.

"They decided to start a new life and to move to Virginia. It's just sad to know that this little 3 year old won't be able to see his father over some senseless acts," said friend Yaz Johnson.

30-year old Mac Hughes was also killed in the stabbing; a third victim is hospitalized. A 15-year old has been arrested and charged with two counts of first degree murder.
