Phoebe Sumter Medical Center has been named the 2015 Most Beautiful Hospital by Soliant Health, a leading specialty healthcare staffing provider.
Phoebe Sumter earned this top recognition with 95,426 votes, breaking the record of every hospital that has ever been in the running. Homestead Hospital, Homestead, Florida was second, followed by Forest Park Medical Center – San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas, and Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News, Virginia.

The hospital, previously known as Sumter Regional Hospital, was destroyed in 2007 by a F3 tornado. Four years later and after a $21.5 million expansion and renovation, Phoebe Sumter Medical Center opened its doors in December 2011.
