Interstate collision sends three to hospital

DOOLY CO., GA (WALB) - Two construction workers are in the hospital, after they were injured in an accident Wednesday afternoon around 1:15 on Interstate 75 in Dooly County.

Troopers say Samuel K. Page was driving north in a 1999 Ford Explorer, when he left the road, and hit two men working on a guardrail in the left, northbound lane near mile marker 121 in Dooly County.

Construction workers Michael Brooks and Arthur Jordan were both airlifted to Macon and are alive right now.

Page is also in Macon. He is charged with failure to maintain lane, driving too fast for conditions, and disobeying a traffic device.

We are working to learn more information about the incident and the people involved.
