TIFTON, GA (WALB) - Walter Thompson, 48, won $2,000 a week for life playing the Georgia Lottery instant game $2,000 A Week For Life.
The tow truck driver from Tifton chose the cash option, totaling $704,386.
E Z Mart, 3301 U.S. Highway 82 W. in Tifton, sold the winning ticket.
Initially amazed at his discovery, Thompson is excited about his winnings.
“It doesn't seem real, but I guess it's real,” he said.
The lucky winner picked up his prize June 5 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Tifton.
Thompson and his wife, Myra, say they will pay off their bills with the prize money.
