ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The city of Albany's only public pool opened this afternoon after a more than 3 week delay because of plumbing problems.
Swimmers told us they're excited the Carver Community Pool is finally open.
"I am very excited," said Lonnie Leverette. "This is the best pool to me. It has a lot of folks that I know."
"They've been having problems about the pool, so I've been mad about the pool not being open," said Jyasjh Gilyared. "So I'm glad the pool is open."
It costs 25-cents for 3 to 12-year olds to get in and 50-cents for 13 and up.
Swimming lessons and Water workouts will start Monday.
