ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Miss Albany gets a community sendoff Monday night as she prepares to compete for the Miss Georgia title.
A meet and greet was held downtown for Reedi Hawkins.
Madison Barber and Marah Collins who will both compete for Miss Georgia teen were also on hand.
All the young ladies showed off the attire they'll compete in.
"It's just so special, and Albany means a lot to me. I'm so in love with this community and it's great to know that the town that you love and believe in loves and believes in you back.," said Reedi Hawkins, Miss Albany.
The Miss Georgia pageant kicks off June 17th in Columbus at the River Center.
Miss Georgia will be crowned June 20th.
