Albany residents learn how to store their family tree

 Storing good photos and keeping written records is a great way to preserve your family history. 

That's just a few tips folks learned today during a workshop at the Dougherty Library downtown. 

Dozens of people showed and learned about what tools are available to help learn about their family tree.  Organizers say preserving photos for future generations is extremely important. 

"People have lots of photos they need to learn how to store and preserve for future generations," Kyle Basko said. 

He says shutterfly is a good way to store your photographs.
