THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - Two Thomas county men are behind bars, charged with robbing a convenience store at gunpoint nine months ago.
Investigators said 25-year-old Kentavieus Brinson and 39-year-old Travis Diggs held up a store on Highway 84 last September.
Earlier this week, Brinson was being questioned about a lawn mower theft when officers said he admitted to robbing the store.
Captain Steve Jones with the Thomas County Sheriff's Office said, “We've got two violent felons off the street. That's a good feeling anytime you can do that. Hopefully we can keep them off the streets. They both have extensive histories with us, and they're where they need to be.”
Brinson and Diggs were denied bond.
Brinson is also facing theft by taking charges.
