ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Experts say many kids lose some of the skills they've learned in school during the summer. But there is a new project helping parents and day cares prevent summer brain drain.
Bright From The Start has calendars with daily activities for ages first born to three years old.
There is also information and resources on their facebook page.
The director of child care resource and referral of Georgia, Albany says it's important to keep kids engaged and learning once school gets out.
"No parent should have a loss of activities to do with their child for the summer. We all want to do what we can to avoid that brain drain," said Soraya Miller.
