ARC helps those with special needs get fit

People with disabilities are getting fit.

Tuesday afternoon, the Albany Advocacy Resource Center participated in President Obama's "I can do it, you can do it" Challenge.

It was their second class of an 8-week program.

"We do a little assessment on them when they come in. We ask them what goals they're trying to learn, physical and what they're trying to gain. Sometimes they're trying to gain weight. Sometimes they're trying to play a sport. So we teach them how to do that,” said Willie Wilcher Wellness Director.

Awards will be given at the end of the 8-week program.
