Albany city leaders want help improving the community

Albany and Dougherty County leaders want to know how you want to improve our community.

Tuesday they kicked off work on a 20-year comprehensive plan and they're looking for the community's input.

Focus groups will help in the process on such issues as transportation, economic development, community facilities, and housing.

“This community involvement piece will actually be available for the next three months so you have the opportunity to participate all the way until August 31st of this year. And there is also a survey available that people can participate until July 31st,” Kerrie Davis Planner, Southwest GA Regional Commission.

If you want to take that survey click here.
