ATLANTA, GA (WALB) - A Moultrie man convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend has seen his conviction and life sentence upheld by the Georgia Supreme Court.
Mack Trimble Junior asked for a third trial after he was found guilty of murder and aggravated assault in 2006 and 2011.
The judge sentenced him to life in prison plus 10 years for the June 2005 shooting death of Cegi Hall. She was the mother of Trimble's child.
Trimble was granted a new trial in 2011 because it was revealed that one of the jurors in his first trial had lost a child to murder.
