Harvey's to close two Albany stores

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Harvey's Supermarket stores announced Thursday that they will close two locations in Albany:

· Harvey's store no. 1600, located at 325 N. Slappey Blvd., Albany, Ga

· Harvey's store no. 1612, located at 2527 Dawson Rd., Albany, Ga

Harvey's says the stores will close on or before June 23.

Harvey's says these remaining stores are located within minutes of the closing stores.

· Harvey's store no. 1648, located at 2310 N. Slappey St., Albany, Ga

· Harvey's store no. 1625, located at 1032 W. Gordon Ave., Albany, Ga

· Harvey's store no. 1695, located at 2800 Old Dawson Rd., Albany, Ga


Harvey's says that associates currently working in these two stores will be given the opportunity to apply for open positions with the company, the majority of which will be offered positions at nearby stores.
